We now have 2% food grade diatomaceous earth (DE) in our 20% tubs.
-----------------------------------
Diatomaceous earth has proven to be an effective catalyst for success in animal feedings when used as an anti-caking agent. Due to government regulations we can only sell the DE product for an anti-caking agent but research, trials and testimonials show that DE has been successful in other beneficial ways.
-----------------------------------
Here is a link that tells more about DE – We DO NOT dispute or condone DE for anything other than a caking agent due to government regulations but here is a link of interest –
https://dedirect.com.au/post/diatomaceous-earth-for-cattle-uses-and-benefits
-----------------------------------
Parts of this article read that mixing Fine Diatomaceous Earth into your cattle’s feed is a natural way to help prevent internal parasites, fleas, ticks and flies from making themselves at home in and on your livestock. DE promotes weight gain, helps support their immune and digestion systems and because Diatomaceous Earth is a form of silica it is known to give cattle strong hoofs, healthier and shinier coats. The best results are when the cattle are consistently eating the DE feed mixture. Diatomaceous Earth is also globally known to reduce internal and external worms and parasites restoring health back to the digestive system all while binding toxins and heavy metals boosting overall health and performance of the cattle. As DE is highly absorbent, if taken internally will reduce the odor of the manure while adding nutrients back into the pastures, boosting water retention and improving feed conversion and pasture quality.

Ease of use:
You don’t have to invest in feeding troughs, and the tubs don’t occupy much of your storage space. They are easy to stack, simplifying hauling and storage on the ranch.
Due to some cows being more aggressive than others it is possible that not all of the cows will get a chance to get all of the nutrients from some feeds that they will need. If this is the case with tubs then you will need to space two tubs further apart to prevent the aggressive cows from pushing the more timid ones away.
With cubes or other feeds the aggressive cattle get more than others which sometimes get none. The tubs are available 24/7 so ALL animals have access when FREE CHOICE

AMAFERM
AMAFERM can help Stretch your Forage Resources.
Increased need for hay resources and lack of pastures causes cattle producers across the country to look for ways to cut their input costs. During a time when they should be turning cows out to pasture, those pastures aren’t as nutrient dense as normal, and hay is at a premium, making the prices more challenging to pay. With the assistance of a high-quality mineral powered by the prebiotic , producers are able to stretch their forages and get more nutrients from what they are feeding. OUR TUBS INCREASES FORAGE UTILIZATION THEREFORE CUTS DOWN ON HAY & GRASS CONSUMPTION BY INCREASING MICROBIAL ACTIVITY IN THE GUT.
AMAFERM are feed supplements for your cattle to optimize average daily gain and reinforce a healthy gut without antibiotics during all stages of production.

Forages are generally low in phosphorus as compared to concentrate feed stuffs such as cereal grains and oil seed meals Drought conditions and increased forage maturity further deplete forage phosphorus concentrations. This suggests that higher phosphorus supplementation may be needed to supply increased dietary phosphorus levels when grazing or feeding stored mature forages or during periods of drought.

SPECIAL ORDER GRASS EXTENSION WITH FLY CONTROL AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST DURING FLY SEASON
----------------------------
----------------------------
It doesn't take much loss in body condition to effect conception rates. Inefficient pastures may be detrimental to your breeding season. To lessen its impact, producers should implement a good supplement while on pasture. If the animals need supplementation then the animals will consume their needs & if they don’t need additional vitamins, minerals or protein then they will not show interest in the tubs.

Herd Health Rations PROVIDE:
Minerals
Calcium, Phosphorus, Salt (NaCl), Magnesium, Potassium. Copper, Manganese, Selenium and Zinc are in our tubs.
Beef cattle require a number of dietary mineral elements for normal bodily maintenance, growth, and reproduction. A trace mineral can be as essential to the health and performance of an animal as a major mineral. The major minerals include calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, sodium, chlorine and sulfur. Among those needed in trace amounts are iron, zinc, manganese, copper, iodine, cobalt and selenium.
----------------------------
Vitamins
Vitamin A, D and E are added to our tubs.
There are various things that cause a change in consumption like weather, mineral deficiencies in your grass or roughage, etc. This is a nutritional fact that can vary world wide. THIS IS ANOTHER REASON TO COMPARE TAGS BEFORE BUYING TUBS and test your grass or hay and see what your animals are lacking in.

Fly Control (IN SEASON) - We use IGR in our Grass extender tub for fly control. IGR is an insect growth regulator (IGR) that passes through the animal and into the manure, where horn flies lay their eggs. It breaks the horn fly life cycle, preventing pupae from developing into biting adult flies.
